The 7th Middle East and Africa Regional IAU Meeting (MEARIM7)
“Advancing Space and Astronomy Sciences for a Sustainable Future”

MEARIM7 is a prominent scientific event held every three years under the auspices of the International Astronomical Union (IAU). It brings together leading astronomers, space scientists, researchers, academics, policymakers, and representatives from space agencies and international scientific institutions to foster regional and global collaboration in the fields of astronomy and space sciences.

The 2025 edition of MEARIM will take place in Amman, Jordan, and is jointly organized by the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS), the University of Jordan, and the University of Sharjah.

The meeting aims to serve as a dynamic platform for astronomers, scholars, students, and professionals in the space sector from across the region to engage in scientific exchange, promote collaborative research, and contribute to sustainable development in astronomy and space sciences.
